Return & Refund Policy

What is your return policy?

We are governed and adhere to, the United Kingdom Distance Selling Regulations. This means we will accept returns and offer a full refund as long as the item is unused, unopened and still in the original packaging.

Please note that it is your responsibility for returning the goods at your expense unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. A refund will be issued as soon as possible but within 30 days at the latest. 

  • The item must be in its original, unused, and resalable condition, including packaging, manuals, and all accessories.
  • Ensure the product packaging has not been damaged or written directly on in any way.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase must be provided to process the return. Items that have been fitted or installed cannot be returned under any circumstances.
  • Certain items, such as bespoke orders or products marked as "non-returnable," are excluded from the return policy
  • If all the above conditions are met, you can return your products directly to us at your own cost.
  • We also recommend using a recorded delivery service and taking pictures of the items in delivery packaging prior to posting. This is to ensure your carrier has not damaged your goods in transit. The onus is on you to insure your returned products in case of any problems.

What is your refund policy?

If you cancel your contract between us within the fourteen-day cooling-off period we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day on which you gave us notice of cancellation.

In this case, we will refund the price of the goods, (excluding delivery charges). However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. Please note, should you wish to return any items, the packaging will need to be returned in the condition it was delivered in. Failure to do so may result in deductions from your refund or your refund request may be refused.

For Trade Customers:

  • A restocking fee of 25% of the item price will be applied for unwanted items. However, if 25% of the returned product value is less than £30, a minimum charge of £30 will apply. This charge will be taken in advance to your return and the full original value of your product will be refunded after inspection. Please note, you are still responsible for the return shipping costs in addition to the restocking fee. 

For General Public Customers:

  • Customers will only be responsible for their own return shipping costs for unwanted items. There is no restocking fee for returns.

What if my order is faulty or damaged?

If a product is suspected to be faulty or damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt and a replacement or refund will be arranged. Please send images and your order number to support@opulentbathroomco.co.uk. 

What if I have received the wrong item?

If you suspect you've received the wrong item, please send a photo and your order number to support@opulentbathroomco.co.uk, we will endeavor to resolve the issue for you as soon as possible.

Disclaimer

Please do not book any trades persons to complete a job involving goods ordered from ourselves, until all parts of your order have been received in good order. Opulent Bathroom Company cannot be held responsible for any delays, standing time charges that you may incur due to damages, defects, faults or issues with goods in transit.
